GATHERINGS AT TREVISCOE
Poppy Mwangi is a Cornish flower grower, floral stylist, and slow-flower advocate whose wild, seasonal arrangements have earned her a quiet international reputation — rooted as much in the land as in artistry.
Her brand Gatherings at Treviscoe marks a new chapter: opening the farm gates to a community of floral enthusiasts, welcoming them into the unhurried rhythms of growing, picking, and arranging.
Note: This project was created as part of ELEVATE, a mentoring programme for brand designers curated by Fiona Humberstone.
THE PROCESS
A NEW CHAPTER ROOTED IN COMMUNITY
Poppy was giving a name and a face to something that already existed — a generous, purposeful practice built on organic growing and a genuine love for bringing people together around flowers.
FINDING WHAT WAS ALREADY THERE
Nothing borrowed from trend. We explored the natural, artisan soul of Poppy's world and shaped a visual direction that felt as wild and elevated as the farm itself — deeply organic, quietly passionate.
A BRAND YOU CAN HOLD
The brand identity came to life across stationery, print, and packaging — each piece crafted to feel artisan and considered, carrying the spirit of Treviscoe long after the flowers have been arranged.
“Maria has created some utterly beautiful and thoughtful work during our time together and it’s been so interesting to see her design process evolve and grow as the programme has continued. She now brings a new level of intention and thought to her design process, and in her own words, her design work has “turned from aesthetic design to destination branding”. What’s not to love?”
